To all WYHA Coaches,

We are very excited to introduce USA Hockey's American Development Model or "ADM" practices at Fessenden on Thursday nights.   The ADM program was launched to provide age-appropriate guidelines and curriculum to hockey associations across America to help more kids play, love and excel in hockey.  As an association, we would like to encourage our coaches to learn and implement ADM models into their practice plans.    

We will be using our Thursday night ADM practices as both a practice session for your teams as well as an opportunity to further develop and train our coaches in the ADM model.  Fellow WYHA coach and skills clinic coach Jim Michals will have several of his professionals on the ice to assist our coaches in learning and running the ADM drills.  This is a great opportunity for our program and we strongly encourage all coaches to attend.  

Head coaches, please make sure that you will have at least 2 coaches from your team attending each of these sessions.

Jim will be contacting coaches via email beforehand with practice plans. For more information on ADM, please go to www.admkids.com.

The Providence Bruins are currently booking youth hockey teams to participate in our Intermission, Pre-Game and Post Game Skates for the 2010-2011 season!  While our schedule has not been officially released yet, we do have a list of definite dates that will take place in October and November.  Since you are a valued contact of mine I want to make sure that your team has first opportunity in selecting a skate.  These early dates are a great way for teams to come together outside their normal schedule to get to know each other in a fun atmosphere and see the P-Bruins in action!  Here is the list of dates that we currently have available for Intermission, Pre-Game and Post Game skates:

Friday, Oct. 8th at 7:05pm- HomeOpener!  (Intermission Only)

Friday, Oct. 15th at 7:05pm

Sunday, Oct. 17thth at 4:05pm (Intermission and Post Game only)

Friday, October 29th at 7:05pm- Girls teams only: "Pink in the Rink" Night

Friday, Nov. 5th at 7:05pm

Here are some of the benefits your team will receive:

-          All players will receive a FREE P-Bruins hat and pin!

-          Your team will receive a FREE DVD of your game!

-          Discounted ticket price to the P-Bruins game!

o       NO MINIMUM number of tickets needed!

-          Players sit on actual Bruins benches and see their game LIVE on the video scoreboard!

-          Also new for this season:

o       Every Pre-Game and Post Game will have 2 USA Hockey patched referees

o       Your team will get to take a team photo on ice level!
