WYHA Families:

Just a reminder that registration for Mite Travel Team candidates is now open.  A mite warm up skating session is scheduled for next Tuesday, September 7^th at the Babson Skating Center.  Mite candidates must be registered by this date to attend this warm up session.  Please click here to view the complete Mite Tryout Schedule.  To note the alpha splits have been changed due to actual enrollment so please reconfirm your scheduled time slots. 

In addition, if you are interested in serving as a mite coach, please plan to attend the annual WYHA Coaches Meeting on Monday, September 13^th @ 8:15p at the Wellesley Police Station Conference Room.  Click here for the Meeting Agenda.

Dear Wellesley Youth Hockey Parents,

As a means of promoting hockey for Wellesley residents, WYHA would like to make you aware of a non-WYHA fundraising activity for the Wellesley High

School and Middle School Boys and Girls Hockey Programs hosted by The Friends of Wellesley Hockey. 

On Friday, September 17, 2010, the Friends will hold their 6th Annual Wellesley Hockey Golf Tournament at the Wayland Country Club.  Registration starts at 12:30 pm with a shotgun start at 1:30 pm.  Cocktails and dinner (including prizes/awards) will be at 6:30 p.m.

The purpose of the tournament is to raise money for the Boys & Girls Hockey Programs at the High School and Middle School levels. Many of these players came through the Wellesley Youth Hockey Program. So round up your foursome or sponsor a hole and plan to have a fun filled day while showing your support for the young men and women involved in the Wellesley Raiders Hockey Programs!

Upcoming Programs:

Babson Skating School:  Fall classes will begin shortly for the skating program; freestyle hockey program is available where players can arrange private lessons.  See the Babson Skating Center website for more details (click on the FS/Dance tab for this program).

TEAMS Training:  Open Skills at the Fessenden School on 9/1 & 9/8 on the Synthetic Ice. U8-U10's / Mites & Squirts: 9/1 & 9/8 (6-6:50p)

WYHA Families:

A few basics to remember about the WYHA website. 

To update a player or parent personal record with address, email, or telephone information, you can do this from the website homepage.  

From the website hompage, bottom of the left vertical column, click on the ‘Edit My Account’ tab.  On the next page, you’ll enter your email and password.  (If you have forgotten your password, follow the instructions noted so that the website can email you the password.) The next page will detail all members of your family as well as their current registration program along with an itemization of program fees and payments. 

Click on any family member to update personal data.  Be sure to update all members (spouse and children) as updating one member doesn’t carry over to all family members. 

On this same detailed member page, you can set reminders for games and practices.

Babson Skating Center Skate Shop will be open are Monday - Friday 8a – 2p for the spring/summer seasons.  The Skate Shop will offers skate sharpening and sells items such as tape, mouthpieces, laces, etc.  Drop-off sharpening is available at any time that the rink is open.   The Skate Shop phone number is 781.239.6050.
